Gazi Husrev-beg Library
Founded in 1537,the Gazi-Husrev-beg Library holds one of the most important collections of Islamic mansucripts in Bosnia-Herzegovina, including a number originally given by Gazi Husrev-beg himself. The collection survived the war intact and is in the process of being scanned. The library also holds significant collections of books, journals, newspapers, documents and photographs.
