Andrej Nikolaidis in London

Wednesday, 18 April, 2012:
Montenegrin author and journalist, Andrej Nikolaidis,
to appear in London this April

Istros Books, a new British publisher founded to promote works of literature from South East Europe, is proud to announce that it will be bringing Andrej Nikolaidis to the London Book Fair this April. Nikolaidis has become well-known outside his native Montenegro as a journalist unafraid to tell the truth in his quest against corruption, fanaticism and intolerance.
Andrej Nikolaidis has recently been the subject of extreme controversy for his recent article on the anniversary of the formation of Republika Srpska. Indeed, the scandal caused by his article, which was published across the region, caused a diplomatic incident and calls for censorship and retraction of his words. The case caused such an outcry that he was called to defend himself on prime-time state TV, and asked to leave his position as political advisor to a local MP.
