Marko Attila Hoare is a senior research fellow at the University of Kingston, whose 'How Bosnia Armed' was published by The Bosnian Institute in association with Saqi Books in 2004. The December 2006 publication of his 'Genocide and Resistance in Hitler's Bosnia: the Partisans and the Chetniks 1941-1943' (a British Academy Postdoctoral Monograph) by Oxford University Press will be celebrated at this BI forum. 'The History of Bosnia: from the Middle Ages to the present day' will be published by Saqi Books in 2007. At our January 2007 forum he introduced a wide-ranging discussion on the continuities and discontinuities, similarities and differences, between the wars of 1941-45 and 1992-5 in Bosnia.
